CAMINO SAGRADO

Sacred Path Healing

An extended one-on-one healing journey with Amber Aymara

Camino Sagrado is the most expansive of the three core individual healing experiences offered through Camino Corazon.

A 2-hour immersive healing journey, this session offers a spacious container for those who feel called to explore deeper layers of their experience—through the body, heart, nervous system, relationships, lineage, spirit, and connection to the living world.

Camino Sagrado builds upon the integrative bodywork and healing approach of Cuerpo Sagrado, while opening substantially more time for council, reflection, somatic inquiry, emotional processing, ancestral exploration, and integration.

The session brings together extended 1:1 council, somatic healing, somatic psychotherapy-informed practices, Esalen Massage, Deep Bodywork, Craniosacral, Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, earth-based healing, and perspectives informed by Amber Aymara's studies in Indigenous wisdom and ancestral healing traditions.

It is designed for experiences that may require more time, more spaciousness, and a deeper level of tending.

This may include trauma and its imprints, grief and loss, significant life transitions, relational patterns, ancestral questions, identity and belonging, or experiences that have remained unresolved or difficult to access through ordinary conversation alone.

Camino Sagrado does not seek to rush toward resolution.

It creates a place to slow down enough to listen.

To understand.

To feel.

To be witnessed.

To allow the body to participate in the conversation.

And to explore what may be ready for acknowledgment, integration, release, or a new relationship.

UN CAMINO — A PATH, NOT A PRESCRIPTION

Camino Sagrado is not a fixed treatment protocol.

It is a journey.

The word camino means path—a way of moving through landscape, experience, relationship, and time.

This session follows that principle.

There may be places that need to be spoken.

Places that need to be felt.

Places that need to be witnessed.

Places where the body needs to be touched.

Places where it needs to be left completely alone.

There may be moments of conversation, silence, movement, tears, stillness, bodywork, sound, reflection, or connection with the natural world.

The work moves according to what is present and what feels appropriate, resourced, and within the participant's capacity.

There is no expectation that everything must be uncovered.

There is no requirement to tell every story.

There is no predetermined destination.

The intention is to create enough time and safety for the work to unfold organically.

COUNCIL — THE EXPANDED CONVERSATION

Unlike the shorter opening council of Cuerpo Sagrado and Energía Sagrada, Camino Sagrado begins with an extended council.

This is a substantial portion of the healing journey.

There is time to speak without rushing.

Time to orient.

Time to explore what brings you to the session.

Time to identify what feels most alive.

Time to notice where your experience lives in the body.

The council may touch upon relationships, life transitions, grief, loss, family dynamics, ancestral patterns, experiences of disconnection, identity, belonging, or moments in life that have changed the way you inhabit yourself.

The conversation may also remain very simple.

Sometimes the most important thing is being witnessed without needing to explain everything.

Amber's role is not to diagnose or define your experience for you.

It is to listen, reflect, ask thoughtful questions, and help create a grounded orientation for the work.

Together, we begin to understand:

What is asking to be tended?

Where does it live?

What does the body already know?

What feels ready to be explored—and what does not?

The council creates the bridge between story and sensation.

Between what we can name and what we can only feel.

SOMATIC INQUIRY — LETTING THE BODY JOIN THE CONVERSATION

Camino Sagrado is deeply informed by somatic healing and somatic psychotherapy-informed approaches.

The body is not treated as separate from emotional experience.

What we have lived can shape how we breathe, move, protect ourselves, relate to others, experience safety, and inhabit our physical presence.

Rather than remaining exclusively in the narrative of an experience, somatic inquiry invites attention toward what is happening here and now.

What happens in the body when a particular memory is mentioned?

Where does tension arise?

Where is there ease?

What changes when you slow your breath?

What happens when you orient toward something supportive?

Is there an impulse to move, withdraw, reach, protect, soften, or rest?

These questions allow the body to become an active participant in the healing process.

The intention is not to force traumatic material to surface or recreate difficult experiences.

Instead, the work emphasizes presence, pacing, choice, grounding, and capacity.

Sometimes healing begins not by going deeper, but by learning that you can stay present with what is already here.

CUERPO — BODYWORK AS A LANGUAGE

As the journey moves into the body, the physical work draws from the foundations of Cuerpo Sagrado.

Esalen-inspired massage may bring long, flowing contact and a sense of continuity throughout the body.

Deep therapeutic bodywork may address areas of physical holding or muscular tension when appropriate.

Craniosacral work may create moments of stillness and subtle listening.

Somatic awareness remains present throughout.

The bodywork is not separate from the emotional or relational work.

It becomes another language.

A way of listening without words.

A way of experiencing support.

A way of discovering where the body holds, where it protects, and where it may be capable of softening.

The touch is always responsive to consent, boundaries, and the body's signals.

There is no expectation that physical release must occur.

The body is not something to conquer.

It is something to meet.

TRAUMA — A GENTLE APPROACH TO WHAT HAS BEEN HELD

When trauma is part of someone's story, Camino Sagrado approaches the work with particular care.

The intention is not to excavate trauma or force catharsis.

It is to support a more compassionate relationship with the ways the body and nervous system may have learned to protect themselves.

This may involve recognizing patterns of activation, withdrawal, numbness, hypervigilance, contraction, or disconnection.

It may involve discovering resources for grounding and regulation.

It may involve learning to recognize choice.

It may involve simply experiencing what it is like to be met without judgment.

The work is paced according to the person's capacity in the moment.

More is not necessarily deeper.

Sometimes the deepest healing is found through a small amount of experience held within a large amount of safety, spaciousness, and presence.

GRIEF + LOSS — MAKING SPACE FOR WHAT HAS CHANGED

Grief does not always need to be solved.

Sometimes it needs a place to exist.

Camino Sagrado creates room for the many forms grief can take—loss of a person, relationship, home, identity, community, possibility, season of life, or version of oneself.

Grief may live in the body as heaviness, fatigue, longing, numbness, constriction, tears, anger, or silence.

The session offers time to be with these experiences without demanding that they move toward a particular conclusion.

Through council, somatic awareness, touch, stillness, sound, earth-based practices, and ritual elements when appropriate, grief can be approached as something worthy of presence rather than something that must be hurried through.

There may be space to remember.

To mourn.

To honor.

To release.

Or simply to sit beside what has been lost.

RELATIONAL HEALING — THE BODY IN RELATIONSHIP

Much of what we experience is shaped through relationship.

Family.

Partnership.

Friendship.

Community.

Caregiving.

Belonging.

Separation.

Conflict.

Connection.

The body often remembers relational experience even when the conscious mind has moved on.

Camino Sagrado can create space to explore these patterns somatically.

How do you experience closeness?

What happens when you feel misunderstood?

Where do you protect yourself?

What happens when someone comes near?

What does trust feel like in your body?

Where do you disappear, overextend, withdraw, or hold back?

These explorations are not about assigning blame or reducing relationships to psychological patterns.

They are invitations to develop greater awareness and choice.

To understand how relationship lives within the body.

And perhaps to begin creating new possibilities.

ANCESTRAL HEALING — WHAT WE CARRY, WHAT WE RELEASE, WHAT WE REMEMBER

Camino Sagrado is also informed by Amber's ongoing studies in Indigenous wisdom and ancestral healing traditions.

These teachings have deepened an understanding of healing as something that can extend beyond the individual and into questions of lineage, belonging, reciprocity, relationship with land, and the stories we inherit.

We are shaped by those who came before us.

We inherit names, languages, gestures, beliefs, patterns, strengths, wounds, traditions, silences, and ways of relating.

Some things we may consciously choose to carry.

Some things may no longer serve us.

Some things may simply need to be witnessed.

Within Camino Sagrado, ancestral work is approached with humility and respect for the distinct cultures and lineages from which these teachings originate.

The intention is not to claim or reproduce specific Indigenous ceremonies or traditions.

Instead, Amber's studies inform a broader practice of reverence, reciprocity, relational awareness, and connection to lineage and place.

Earth-based tools and practices may provide a tangible way to explore these themes.

The question becomes less:

“What is wrong with me?”

and more:

“What am I carrying?”

“Where did it begin?”

“What belongs to me?”

“What am I ready to transform?”

“What do I want to carry forward?”

TIERRA — THE EARTH AS WITNESS AND ALLY

Earth-based healing is woven throughout the Camino Sagrado experience.

Natural elements, instruments, sound, rhythm, scent, stones, plants, water, fire, earth, or other intentional tools may become part of the journey.

These elements can help create grounding and orientation while also offering symbolic and sensory pathways into the work.

The Earth can become a place to return to.

A reminder of rhythm.

A source of steadiness.

A witness to change.

A relationship that does not require words.

In this way, healing is not framed solely as an internal psychological process.

It is also relational.

We are bodies within landscapes.

We are people within families and communities.

We are descendants of other people.

We are participants in ecosystems.

We are part of something larger.

RITUAL + INTEGRATION

Because Camino Sagrado is an extended experience, there is room for integration that shorter sessions cannot always accommodate.

Depending on what emerges, the closing portion of the journey may include quiet reflection, grounding, sound, breath, movement, journaling, earth-based ritual, or a return to council.

The purpose is not to create a dramatic ending.

It is to allow the experience to settle.

To notice what has shifted.

To recognize what remains.

To identify what needs continued care.

And to begin creating a bridge between the healing space and everyday life.

The session may end with clarity.

It may end with softness.

It may end with questions.

It may end simply with a deeper sense of being present.

Integration does not always mean having an answer.

Sometimes it means being able to stay in relationship with the question.

A THREE- TO FOUR-HOUR CONTAINER

The extended length of Camino Sagrado is intentional.

Three to four hours allows the work to breathe.

There is enough time for a substantial council without rushing toward the bodywork.

Enough time for the body to settle.

Enough time for somatic exploration.

Enough time for deeper physical and energetic work when appropriate.

Enough time for silence.

Enough time for emotion.

Enough time for earth-based practices.

And enough time to return slowly.

The session does not need to be filled every minute.

Space is part of the medicine.

A longer container allows moments of stillness and transition to become part of the work rather than something we have to hurry through.

FOR THOSE WHO FEEL READY TO GO DEEPER

Camino Sagrado may be especially meaningful for those navigating significant life experiences or seeking a more spacious container for healing.

This may include:

  • Trauma and the body's responses to difficult experiences

  • Grief and significant loss

  • Major life transitions and identity shifts

  • Relational patterns and relationship wounds

  • Family dynamics and inherited patterns

  • Questions of ancestry, lineage, and belonging

  • Experiences of disconnection or feeling out of relationship with oneself

  • A desire for deeper embodiment and self-awareness

  • Emotional experiences that feel difficult to access through words alone

  • A longing for greater connection with nature, lineage, or spiritual life

  • A desire for an extended, immersive healing experience rather than a conventional treatment session

You do not need to arrive with a complete story.

You do not need to know exactly what needs healing.

And you do not need to uncover everything.

The work begins with what is here.

A SACRED SPACE FOR WHAT IS TRUE

Camino Sagrado is ultimately an invitation to enter a more spacious relationship with yourself.

To sit with what has happened.

To listen to what the body remembers.

To honor what has been lost.

To recognize what has been carried.

To explore how relationship has shaped you.

To remember where you come from.

To consider what you want to carry forward.

And to make room for something new.

This is not a promise of fixing.

It is not a guarantee of resolution.

It is a dedicated space for presence, inquiry, relationship, embodiment, and integration.

A place where difficult experiences can be approached with care.

A place where the body can have a voice.

A place where grief can be witnessed.

A place where lineage can be remembered.

A place where the Earth can be part of the healing conversation.

A place where you do not have to rush.

Come with what is true.

We begin in council.
We listen to the body.
We make space for what has been carried.
We honor what has been lost.
We remember relationship.
We invite the Earth into the work.
And we walk the path together.
